Look deeply into this, they are four years old one day and 34 years the next. And by this statement, we do not mean that time flies, we mean teenagers are all atop the chart of their maturity. As the grown up of the house and being their parent, it is your responsibility to teaching kids about money and educating them on what they need to know so that they can survive on their own when it is time to move out. This is the time to sit down with your kids and explain to them how to make a budget or what they spend their money on and work out a plan with them.   1. Teach teens About Money If you don’t teach your kid how to manage money, somebody else will. And that’s not a risk you want to take. at any stage is going to take time on your part. It won’t always be easy. But if you want your children to know how to successfully manage their money when they get older, taking the time now will be worth it. Teach them contentment. Give them the responsibility of a bank account. Get them saving for college. Teach them to steer clear of student loans. Teach them the danger of credit cards.
