Summary • 159 patients treated between March and May 2010 • Median LoS for Hips & Knees is 4 days • 58% of Hip patients discharged within 4 days, compared to 34% before ER was implemented • 63% of Knee patients discharged within 4 days, compared to 41% before ER was implemented • LoS ranges from 1 day to 22 days • Readmission rate is 3.77% compared to 5.30% before ER was implemented • Patient experience measured in 99% of patients
