  4. How do you get good rice seed? Collect rice varieties, in particular varieties that are well adapted to specific areas. To collect varieties from off-farm, perhaps seed exchanges can take place within a farmer network or seed bank. Varieties should be evaluated to study their characteristic in order to select the parent lines.
