Why is February 23 special in Rotary? • Of course that’s the birthdate of Paul Percy Harris • That was the day Paul Harris met Ches Perry, the Builder of Rotary • That is the date of the start of WWI • That’s the date Paul Harris’ wife, Jean, died • That’s the date of the first Rotary Meeting, in 1905
