  4. Education • William Shakespeare was educated at Gildhall not far from is house. There he learned Grammar, Latin, and Roman classic novels.

  5. Marriage/Children • 1582-married Anne Hathaway • Children- Twins- Judith, Hamnet and sister Susanna

  6. Working on up… William did not just become a famous playwriting over night. He had to work hard to get his way to the top. William was a good business man. Do to his education he had other things to fall back on.

  7. Globe Theatre • The Globe Theatre was very special to Shakespeare because he was part owner and most of his plays were performed there.

  9. Final Act • Shakespeare retired from the theater in 1610 • In 1616 William Shakespeare died at the age of 52. His death was unknown. • William Shakespeare opened a whole new world for theater. Many of his plays are still being used today in schools and Broadway. • He will forever be known as the greatest play writer.
