HADITH Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.'' [At-Tirmidhi]

  13. When Riding سُبْحَانَ الَّذِيسَخَّرَلَنَا هٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّالَه، مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّاإِلَىٰرَ بِّنَالَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

  14. After hearing bad news إِنَّا ِ للهِوَإِنَّاإِلَيْهِرَاجِعُون. اَللّهُمَّأْجُرْنِيفِي مُصِيبَتِي وَاخْلُفْلِيخَيْرًامِّنْهَا

  15. Istighfaar (Asking forgiveness) أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَالَّذِي لاَ إِلـٰٰـهَإِلاَّ هُوَ اَلْحَيُّالْقَيُّومُوَأَتُوبُإِلَيْهِ

  24. Just Remember the Hadith (read at the beginning) "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.''

Imagine the rate of virtues… • We can recite at least one word or 5 letters per second. • That means we are showered with 50 virtues per second when we recite the Qur’an. • And this shower of blessings continue as long as we recite it. • But let us not forget the purpose of recitation… Tadabbur (pondering) and Tazakkur (taking lessons).
