  • Australia is north west of Indonesia and Indonesia is south east to Australia
  • Indonesia is made up of aprox 17,508 islands with just over 6,000 inhabited.
  • the main islands of Indonesia are: Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Papua, and Bali.
  • The main cities are: Jankata, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan and Palembang.
  • The name of the capital city of Indonesia is Jakarta.
  • The population is: 237,424,363 people living in Indonesia, give or take a few

  • The climate of Indonesia is almost entirely tropical, with a average of 28C.
