  1. 銀閣寺 ぎんかくじ ~Also known as the “Temple of the Silver Pavilion”

  2. れきし Founded in the year 1460 (千四百六十年) in 京都,this temple originally was going to be built as a retirement and garden villa for a man named あしかが　よしまさ. This being his initial intent for the building, when his death had found him it was newly made into a Zen temple. This temple could be said as a replication of his grandfather’s Golden pavilion. 京都 =Kyoto

  3. かれさんすor Dry landscape . Also known as, what we call it, a Zen garden.

So where’s the 銀？ ぎん Although the temple was supposed to be covered in silver foil , alike the 金閣寺which is covered in a gold leaf foil , when the temple was being constructed there was the Onin war. What this did was put off the construction so long that it lead to the foil not being placed upon the building before 　　　よしまさ’s death.Therefore his dream of a silver covered building , as it’s said is , had not being realised. 金閣寺＝きんかくじ 一ばん　好きな　しゃしん　です。
