  3. Comment Resolution • TGg approved comment resolutions in doc. 11-02-535r14 • TGg has adopted resolutions for all technical comments • Resolutions statistics: • Comments Accepted: 75 • Comments Countered: 35 • Comments Rejected: 95 Matthew B. Shoemake, TGg Chairperson

Status of the Draft • Based on comment resolutions this week, the TGg Editor has updated the Draft to 3.2 • Draft 3.2 is available on the server • Draft 3.2 may not contain all resolutions adopted by TGg this week, however, it does contain the vast majority of them Matthew B. TGg Draft 4.0 • The editor is currently working on draft 4.0. • TGg passed a unanimous (25-0-0) motion to: • Direct the TGg editor to produce Draft 4.0 of the IEEE 802.11g draft based on the approved comment resolutions in document 11-02-535r14 within two weeks of the close of the September 2002 interim session. • The intent of this motion is to give the editor time to make sure Draft 4.0 is clean and to verify that the draft contains all adopted resolutions Matthew B. TGg Plan • Two weeks following the September 2002 session: • Editor updates to draft 4.0 based on adopted comment resolutions • Two weeks after the September 2002 session: • WG issues a 15-day letter ballot on whether or not to start a Recirculation Ballot on TGg Draft 4.0 • (Two weeks + 15 days) after the September 2002 session: • Assuming the Letter Ballot passes, issue an 802.11 WG Recirculation ballot on the TGg draft • November 2002 Session: • Based upon comments received from the recirculation ballot, make decision to: • Forward Draft 4.0 to Sponsor Ballot -OR- • Revise the Draft 4.0 based on the comments and issue another Recirculation Ballot Matthew B.   7. Motion • Move to issue a 15-day IEEE 802.11 Working Group Letter Ballot two weeks after the close of the September 2002 Interim session. The letter ballot shall include a motion to issue a 15-day recirculation ballot on the IEEE 802.11g draft 4.0. • Motion forwarded to IEEE 802.11 WG on unanimous TGg vote of 23-0-0 Matthew B.
