Welcome to Citation Maker To create a citation, follow these steps: • You must allow pop-ups on your browser to use Citation Maker. • Click on the resource (source type) you want to cite. • Complete the template form with information from your source. • When you are done filling out the form, click "Create Citation Below." Your citations will appear below the template in the dotted box. • Continue this process for each of your sources. • You may enter multiple citations without losing the previous ones.

  4. 7. When you have entered all of your citations, you can sort them into alphabetical order by clicking on "Sort All." 8. Before you exit Citation Maker, be sure to print your work or copy & paste it into a word processing document that you save. Before you copy & paste, click on "Copy All." 9. Once you paste your work into your own document, correct these things: • Double space the entire list, both between citations and within them. • Make sure that when a citation is more than one line long, you indent the extra lines. This is called a hanging indent. • If a citation does not begin with an author's last name, it can be sorted wrong. Rearrange the citations to get them in correct alphabetical order as necessary.
