Background • Joint group chaired by DISA (Bob Zielinski/ Mike Morgan) • Addressing Joint XML for TDL standards • C-E LCMC SEC is Army Representative • Meeting three times a year at McLean, VA • Created by JMSWG • Last meeting : 20-22 September 2005 • Worked on Charter and Proof of Concept task

  3. Future Actions • US Marine Corps (Capt. Neushul) to produce prototype based upon VMF XML schema generation • Working Group will evaluate as Proof of Concept; then to JMSWG before full effort • Based upon TDL Database System • Will expand to Link 16, IBS, MS-6020, and Link 11

  4. Joint VMF-XML Schemas • US Marine Corps approach to VMF-XML • US Army SEC worked with USMC in defining the process to generate Schemas • Modified Appendix F approved in September 2005 by JMCCB • XML Schema generation to follow
