  3. Day 1 • visiting castle Strečno near Žilina. Strečno is ruin of the middle-age fort from 14th century • Terchová, trip through Jánošíkové diery, which is system of gorges and canyons in National Park Malá Fatra • Veľké Borové – typical moutain village in Chočské vrchy • Accomodation in apartment in Veľké Borové

  4. Day 2 • hiking trip through Kvačianska dolina valley and Prosiecka dolina valley back to Veľké Borové • Kvačianska dolina valley with its preserved unique and ancient wooden water mill, belongs to UNESCO heritage site • Together with Prosiecka dolina valley they belong to the very special karst area • rest in Aquacity Poprad • Transport from Poprad to Tatranská Lesná and short hike to Hrebienok • Accomodation in Bílikova Chata Mountain Hotel near Hrebienok

  5. Day 3 • Trip to Studenovodské vodopády waterfalls and then to Zbojnícka chata hut in Veľká studená dolina valley. • Studená dolina is part of Vysoké Tatry mountain range, which is the highest mountain range in Slovakia. • In this mountain range is High Tatras National park with unique alpine and subalpine ecosystems and glaciers relief. • Accomodation in Bílikova Chata Mountain Hotel near Hrebienok

  7. Day 4 • Backfrom Hrebienok to Tatranská Lesná and transport to Červený Kláštor, a smallvillage in Pieninský National park. • Rafting on the Dunajecriver • Accomodation in apartment Pltník in Červený Kláštor

Assignment • make a simple itinerary for a trip in Slovakia or abroad, lasting at least 3, maximum 7 days • choose the type of transport, find some accomodation and pick one or more destinations you want to visit • write at least one sentence about each place... You can mention why you want to visit it, what makes it special or unique
