  1. Year 6 Kingswood Trip Monday 26th June – Friday 30th June

  2. Adults • Miss Davey (Group Leader) • Miss Donatantonio • Miss Lennox

  3. Journey Details • Arrive at school for 10.30 am for an 11am-11.30am departure. Please ensure that they have had a good breakfast! • Children will need to bring a packed lunch. • Children to go to the Main Hall. • Luggage to be left at the front of the school building. • Travel sickness – please administer travel sickness medication to your child(ren) before coming to school.

  4. Remember your Packed Lunch! (No fizzy drinks, glass bottles or nuts please)

  5. The children are not allowed to bring mobile phones, tablets or electronic games. They are able to bring a disposable camera but this is optional as the adults will be taking photos and at the end of term, copies of these photos will be given to them. Also, there will be photos uploaded onto the Year 6 Blog every day • The children can bring books, magazines and cards to keep themselves amused but these are their own responsibility. • No sweets or snacks to be taken. • A small bottle of water is advised.

  6. Arrangements: • All medication needs to be handed to either: Miss Donatantonio Mrs McNamara By Friday 23rd June ALL medication needs to be clearly named and correspond with those listed on your child’s medical form.

  7. Arrangements: • The children are allowed to take up to £10 pocket money. We ask that this is in the form of coins (£2 and £1 coins) and in a named envelope. • The pocket money needs to be sent into school by Friday 16th June. Staff will generally distribute a maximum of £2 per day. Your child will be responsible for any change they have left over.

  8. Arrangements: • Home Liaison – In case of an emergency, please contact Mrs Heymoz. • Children will not be allowed to telephone home. • Mrs Lennox will let all parents and carers know that the children have arrived safely by text on the first day. • There will be regular updates via the Year 6 Blog on the website. • On the return journey home, you will be kept updated via Schoolcomms. There is no need to call the school office.

Destination: Pope Paul School Party The Kingswood Centre, West Runton, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 9NF http://www.kingswood.co.uk/centres/west-runton We strongly suggest that you write to your child during the week (they love it!). You can also email your child on guest.wrunton@inspire-learning.com Please make sure that you put Pope Paul Party and your child’s name at the top of your email. The emails get printed off once a day and given to the teachers to be distributed.

Forms • Information Sheet for the Trip to Kingswood (white sheet) • Kit List (white sheet) • The 3 forms to return to school are coloured, single sheets: •  Purple = Parent Consent Form •  Yellow = Medical Consent Form •  Orange = Copy of Trip Rules to be signed by parents and pupil • We advise you to keep a copy and give one to your emergency contact.

  15. What to pack! • Clothing and kit list • Day bag & water bottle • Sun cream • Pocket money – (£10 in coins not a single note) • Medicine – must be prescribed. Calpol sachets or hay fever medication can be sent in a new labelled box. • Teddy! • Children will be expected to make their own beds (fitted sheet, quilt cover & pillow case) – please practise!

  16. Please No…. • Mobile phones • DS/Game boy / IPods / Hair straighteners etc • Sweets of any kind • Spray deodorants!

  17. Arrival Home • Expected arrival time 4 - 5pm • Please be there promptly - your child will want to see you! • Children will return very tired!
