  3. Objectives of Jalswarajya • To be distributed 146 GPs third installment of ADD-II up to Dec.2008 • To be started water supply facility in all 146 selected GPs up to March-2009. • Remaining works to be completed in ADD-II up to Feb-2009. • 145 GPs to be exit up to March-2009.

  4. Golden Rules of Jalswarajya • Women's participation in decision making • Transperancy. • Ownership through self responsibility. • Participation of every sectors. • Quality Control.

  5. JALSWARAJYA PROJECT’S PLANNED COST FOR LATUR DIST.

Village Action Plan (Addendum II) Activities to be done • Provision of safe drinking water @ 40 lpcd. • Strengthening measures for existing sources. • Sustainable water availability through source strengthening. • Need based new water supply schemes. • Community, school and environment sanitation infrastructure. • Safe drinking water and clean village a dream.

  7. Women Empowerment Plan (Addendum III) Activities to be done • Women leadership through various committees. • Selection of poor, needy women through Gramsabha. • Provision of fund for seed money and capacity building. • Formation of SHGs. • Generation of small scale business. through SHGs.

Capacity Building Plan (Addendum I) Activities done in Latur • Rs.394.24 lakhs released for Capacity building plan. • 2766 trainings are conducted for various committees roles and responsibilities, project management,financial managements , exposure tour. • Village panchayats strengthening by well furniture and equipments.
