The Dream of a Righteous Mother[Hanna Bint Qaamoos] • Hanna Bint Qaamoos was the grandmother of Isa (a.s). [Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
to top The Wisdom of Allah But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah ]."
Qualities of a Righteous Mother • Plan for the child before he/she comes out of the womb. • Sincere Du’a for a righteous child. • Surrender and Accept the decision of Allah whole-heartedly. • Ask Allah to protect the child from the tricks of Shaitan. • Giving a good name for the child. • The name ‘Maryam’ means – ‘Worshipper of Allah’ in ancient Semitic languages.
to top The Dream in Reality • After a great struggle of -waiting for years, -loosing her husband, -having a baby girl & -a severe dispute over the guardianship, she was accepted into the المِحرَابُ (Chamber). • So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance and caused her to grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zechariah. Every time Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, he found with her provision. He said, "O Mary, from where is this [coming] to you?" She said, "It is from Allah . Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account."
to top اِصْطَفاكِ على نِسَاءِ العالميِنَ… …He Chose you (Maryam) above the women of the worlds • O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer].“(Al-Imraan : 43) • Why was she honoured?
1. Because of her Taqwa (Piety) And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man. She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah .“ (Surah Maryam)

She was patient with the decision of Allah (s.w.t) to top • He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy."She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?" He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed. So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place
to top And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten."But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream. And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates. So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, 'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man.' " Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented.Osister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."

She is honoured with a Special Help from Allah (s.w.t) • Refer to the previous slide. • Not only was Maryam (a.s) helped with wordly means, but she was also congratulated with a child who possessed miraculous qualities. So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?"[Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive. And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive."That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute.
وَجِيهًا في الدُنيَا وَ الأخِرَةِعِيسىَ ابنُ مَريَمَ Isa son of Maryam, held in honour in this world &in the hereafter • Like other prophets, Is’a (a.s) is the messenger of Allah. [Surah Baqarah- 36] • Isa (a.s) came with the same message as all other prophets. And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me. Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.“(Surah Al-Imraan)
Miracles of Isa عليه و السلام • He would speak with the people when he was in the cradle. • Would design a figure like that of a bird and blew into it. • Healed human beings, who were born blind. • Cured Leper. • Used to bring the dead to life • Would inform people of what they ate and stored at home.[Surah Al-Imraan:49]
to top Misguidance of People They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" The other group degraded Isa (a.s) below his position. And they conspired to kill but they were unsuccessful. One group elevated Isa (a.s) to the level of God because they were mislead by his miracles. And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.
Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax. Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it (as charitable gifts). [SahihBukhari]
Jesus will follow the Shariah (Methodology) of Rasullullah (s.a.w.s) and will die a natural death.
Lets Make a Du’a Against Committing Shirk اللّهُمَّ إنِّي أَسئَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ لا إله إلاَّ أَنْتَ وَ حْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ اَلْمَنَّانُ يَا بَدِيْعَ السَّماواتِ وَ الأَرْضِ يَا ذَالْجَلالِ وَ الإِكْرامِ يا حَيُّ يا قَيُّومُ إِنِّي أَسْئَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَ أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ O Allah Indeed I ask You as for You is all the praise, there is no God but You, You alone; there is no patner for You the one who greatly favours, O Originator of the heavens and earth, O one of Majesty and honour, O the eternal and self subsisting, indeed I ask you for Jannah and I seek refuge in You from the fire. [Ibn Majah]
