  2. Welcome • SRC Overview • Purpose of Volunteers • Collect Orientation slips from other branches • Collect t-shirt slips

  3. Procedures

  4. Sign-In • Where and how • Show Sign-In Notebook • All volunteers mark hours for training on your sheets • Service Learning Hours will not be sent to the schools. Volunteers must bring in the Service Learning Hour forms from their schools at the end of SRC.

  5. Sign-In • T-Shirts – Be sure to wear your SRC t-shirt every time you come in for a shift. • Volunteer Badges – Leave them at the library.

  6. Shift Changes • Come in 10 minutes early • Ask prior volunteer(s) if there is any special information to pass on to you – then, remember to pass it on to the next volunteer(s).

  7. Absence Report • Substitute List Do not give out these numbers or call for other reasons. • Call the library to report absence and let us know who will substitute. • Library Phone Number. • Ask for the Librarian-in-Charge.

  8. Schedules • Location of schedules. • How sign-up works.

  9. SRC Table • Where will it be? • What will be on it? • Ask staff for help – they’ll be nearby!

  10. SRC Table • Personal belongings storage – don’t bring valuables • Supplies – where they will be at the SRC table, ask staff for extras before the supplies run out
