  4. Join the group! • A Facebook group just for commencing Monash students! • Get the latest information about events to support you in your first year at Monash • To join, search for the following Group on your Facebook account NewtoMonashUni2014

  5. What to expect – Academic orientation Make sure you attend your Faculty orientation program! • you will receive important information that will prepare you for study • you will get to know faculty staff – course coordinators and other VIPs • you will get to know your new classmates and start making friends – so strike up a conversation! Other Academic Orientation opportunities: • Check out the library – tours, classes, study skills workshops or just talk to the friendly library staff

  6. What to expect – Social orientation Get social! • There are plenty of social activities on campus during Orientation brought to you by your Student Organisation – MONSU Caulfield. Check them out, get involved, join a club and get connected. • Also check out what the Monash Postgraduate Association (MPA) is doing. Get active! • Monash Sport and TeamMONASH have a range of activities, facilities and clubs for those who want to stay active and be part of the team.
