  1. Book Talk Prep • Book Talk is a summative activity. We will probably take two days May 2 and 3. If you will be gone for OEC on May 3, you must go May 2. • The first part of the grade is the prep work. Your planning sheet is part of your grade. It must be completed very thoroughly. • The second part of the grade is the online component. You will complete this in class next week. • You need your non-fiction book through next week. • You cannot make up the book talk. I will base your grade on whatever work you turn in next week.

  2. Reminders • Get a choice novel ASAP. It can be a book of your choice: fiction or nonfiction. • First one-pager due May 10. At least one book or 150 pages. For an A, you must meet this deadline. • B Paper option for Hero’s Journey is due Monday, April 29 by 2:10. NO EXCEPTIONS. I will NOT take an email of your paper. This is a gift. Please read the directions in your packet. Please make sure it is set-up correctly. Please make sure to proofread. Just turning in a paper does not guarantee a B. It must be QUALITY work!!!!!!!! • Those working for an A, I will go over the requirements on Monday during class. That paper will be due Monday, MAY 6 by 2:10. NO EXCEPTIONS. • Hero Journey novels should be returned as you get done with it. I will send down a fines and fees list next week.
