  1. Sugar Salem School District #322 Differentiated Pay 2013 – 2014

General Indicators • Will be for all staff members according to number of hours worked • Teachers – DPP must be student academic centered • Classified – DPP based on professional development credits • Differentiated Pay awards based on percentage of a full share earned • All staff will have input into Differentiated Pay goals • Will meet early September by school or area to develop goals.

  3. General Indicators - Continued • Staff members working at different schools such as counselors, music, etc. receive % based on time in that school. • Some Differentiated Pay models on a trimester system and end of course assessments (ECA) • Differentiated Pay will be dispersed according to negotiated agreement: • “All Differentiated Pay funds will be dispersed in one lump sum 1. after funds have been received and 2. differentiated pay goals have been met.” It is expected that these both factors will be met in the months of May or June. • Differentiated Pay formulas are calculated on a school level. Names are sent to the district office for payment.

  4. Grades K-3 Performance Indicators *Portions of IRI or SBAC are used.

  5. The building administrator will get 25% of the amount awarded to each grade level. (For each of four grade levels) The district wide ESL teacher and Counselor full shares will be calculated at the following rate: Central: 1/16 from each grade level Kershaw: 1/12 of each grade level Jr. High: 1/8 from English and 1/8 from math SSHS: 1/8 from English and 1/8 from math A teacher who works less than full-time will receive a share according to the above chart multiplied by the prorated FTE.

  9. Merit pay will be based upon student mean scores on subject area End of Course Assessments for each trimester. Mean score Share/trimester 75% .33 71% .28 67% .23 63% .15 60% .10 All mean scores will be rounded to the nearest whole number based upon the tenth place.
