EETD Lab Tour Safety Information • Visitorsmust be escorted by an EETD representative at all times while in the lab areas. • Proper personal protective equipment must be worn by visitors when entering lab areas. This includes: • Safety glasses with side shields • Closed-toe shoes • Long pants • Lab area hazard placards are postedoutside each lab andwill be reviewed prior to entry. • Visitors are reminded to not to touch surfaces and notdisturb equipment or lab experiments in the lab areas.

EETD Lab Tour Safety Information • Your tour guide will give information on how to evacuate the area in the event of an emergency. • The lab emergency number is X6999 for non-life threatening emergencies and X7911 (X911 by cell phone) for life threatening emergencies. • If you have any questions or comments regarding safety in the lab areas, contact the EETD Safety Manager, Ron Scholtz at (510) 495-8137. • EETD maintains a website containing useful safety information.
