  3. Renewable Requirements • All DESC solicitations “request” offers for renewable power • Renewable power has been offered in PA, IL, TX, DC/MD • Awards made in Texas (NASA) and through modification in PJM (Army)

  4. Texas • Offered as “Renewable/Hydro/Green” • $0.0410919 + $0.00048 =$0.0415719 • 3 years • 5% of 604,032,887 kWh • Market based default rate in Reliant service territory • As delivered price lower than some non-renewable

  5. PJM • Walter Reed, Adelphi Lab, Ft. McNair • Annual Requirements (2+ years) • 5,000,000 kWh Wind • 14,000,000 kWh New Landfill • Approximately $0.01/kWh premium over contract price • Certification pending
