  2. Appearance The Dinictis was a yellowish color. It had spots all over it’s body. Covering it’s body was a thin layer of fur.

  3. Adaptations spots Sharp teeth for eating meat.

  4. Diet The Dinictis ate meat. It was a carnivore. They hid and then they jumped out and killed it’s pray.

  5. Size The Dinictis was about four feet tall and 100 pounds.

  6. Habitat The Dinictis lived in the plains of North America.

  7. Motion The Dinictis walked on four legs. It ran very, very fast.

  8. Ancestors/Descendents The Dinictises ancestors were Cheetah’s Tiger’s and Lion’s.

  9. Predators The Dinictis did not have any predators on dry land. But it did have predators in the water such as the Basilosarus.

  10. Common/Scientific Name The Dinictis means Terrible Cat.
