  7. True Story Sexting Tragedy Hope Witsell commits suicide after being bulled and called slut (Examiner.com) Thirteen year old Hope Sterling Witsell sent a crush a semi nude photo of herself. The topless photo text (aka sexting) ended up in the hands of almost everyone at school. As a result Hope was branded a "slut" and her school life became a living nightmare.
