  2. The Foundation for the System Lives in 190.243.1 RSMo. • “Severely injured patients shall be transported to a trauma center. Patients who suffer a STEMI, as defined in section 190.100, shallbe transported to a STEMI center. Patients who suffer a stroke, as defined in section 190.100, shall be transported to a stroke center.”

  3. 19 CSR 30-40.790 Transport Protocol for Stroke and STEMI Patients “SATATE TRANSPORT PROTOCOL” • Establishes protocols for transporting suspected stroke or STEMI patients by severity and time of onset to the Stroke or STEMI center where resources exist to provide appropriate care.

  4. 19 csr 30-40.770 Community based or regional plan for emergency medical services for trauma, stemi or stroke. • The rule establishes the procedures for submission of a community based or regional plan for the transportation of patients to a stoke, STEMI or trauma centers.
