  3. Mandarin track - 非華裔子弟學生 • 初學的時候聽說佔70%，讀寫30% • 但讀寫的百分比會隨程度提高增加 • 高中的時候聽說佔30&，讀寫70% Mandarin Writing & Reading Track 華裔子弟學生 一般聽說沒有問題，所以課程主要集中在讀寫部分，佔70%

  4. 中文是否美國學校的必修課？ • 中文是小學部的必修課 • 中學部有很多不同的語言供學生選擇〈如西班牙文，法文〉，但據老師的資料，最多學生選擇中文 • 中文課程設計及標準，一定是AP?? • 根據自己的標準設計 • 主要是讓學生考IB考試 • IB(International Baccalaureate) • 華裔及非華裔學生考不同的IB考卷 • 非華裔子弟 -IB Standard level • 華裔子弟 -IB Higher level

  5. 跟程度還是年齡分班？ • 小學部的話是同一個年齡的學生一起上課，但是會同時有五到六班，不同程度的學生分開上課 • 中學部方面主要是跟程度，分三組： • K7-8 • K9-10 • K11-12 • 每一組同程度的學生一班 • 上課時數很少嗎？ • 隔天上課 • 小學每天40分鐘 • 初中每天65分鐘 • 高中每天85分鐘

  6. 用甚麼教材？ • 有的從美國進口，有的用台灣的 • 不用大陸的教材，因為學校教的是繁體字 • 老師都是老外嗎？ • 17人為母語者 • 1 位外國老師 • 〈如果沒有聽錯數字的話〉 • 但最重要是，母語跟外國老師都有
