  4. ISO/TC 145/SC 01 “Public Information Symbols” • Adding new variants to ISO 7001 Public Information Symbols – (US additional variants were submitted). • Adding a second part to ISO 28564 on Public Wayfinding (maps etc).

ISO/TC 145/SC 02 "Safety identification, signs, shapes, symbols and colours" • ISO 3864-3:2012 Graphical symbols - Safety colours and safety signs - Part 3: Design principles for graphical symbols for use in safety signs published. • ISO 3864-4:2011 Colors (Colours) published in July 2011 • 48 Marine (ISO/TC 8) Safety Action signs registered (Green) developed for Crew Guidance. • Discussion on asking the Agricultural and Earthmoving Machinery Sectors to register their Hazard signs (each have individual Machine Safety Label Standards. • Japanese presentation on Tsunami warning signs with recommendations to improve. (ISO 20712-3)

  6. ISO/TC 145/SC 03 "Graphical symbols for use on equipment" • 89 new or revised symbols were added • Working being done to harmonize symbol duplication between IEC SC 3C and ISO/TC 145/SC 03
