  1. Did the Nazis keep their promise to provide jobs and restore theeconomy?  Liam and Nathan 

  2. Hitler’s promises to the people • To make one strong German race • Get Germany out of the Depression • Jobs for all working ‘Aryans’ • Provide Germany with a strong military • To go against the Treaty of Versailles

  3. What were Hitler's policies towards all matters regarding the economy and employment before he gained power?? Hitler’s aims: • Take Germany out of the Depression • Solve unemploymentby promising all workers jobs) • Get rid of Jewish workers and give their jobs to ‘Aryans’ • Make Germany self sufficient (autarchy) • Transform the economy to focus on rearmament and military expansion.

  4. What promises were kept Hitler wanted to overthrow the Treaty of Versailles, rebuild the Army and boost Germany’s economy and one way he did this was by recruiting.

  5. What promises weren't kept • As a lot of Hitler's initial points were contradictory, he couldn't keep all his promises, like how a lot of the National points contradicted the Socialists especially when it came down to business.

  6. Rearmaments Because of Hitler's rearmaments it gave people the chance for work operating what he bought the army and he also needed thousands of people to make it. So in 1939 he had 1.4 million men in the army and had spent 46 Billion Marks on weapons and equipment.
