  4. Agricultural and industrial exhibitions teach us how we can produce more and better things at cheaper cost. Educational exhibitions tell us the latest improvement in the art of learning and teaching. Exhibitions are also good media for advertisement, better than advertisement through papers. Book exhibition inspire the people. So more visitors are attracted to this place everyday. I had a chance to visit a book exhibition and an agricultural exhibition in the year 2001. I went to the exhibition with my father. The exhibition ground was beautifully decorated with colored lamps and the lamps on the branches of the trees. There were two gates; one for the entrance and other for the exit. Both the gates were decorated and designed in a novel way. There were various stalls inside the compound. Each stall was decorated. Books were set properly inside the selves of the stalls. Similarly agricultural products were kept beautifully Inside the stalls.

  5. The National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham is the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom and hosts more than 150 shows annually. Its arena can seat 12,000 people and there are 16 halls in total .

  6. From the newspaper I came to know that a large number of visitors visited both the exhibitions. There were arrangements for entertainment. A place was selected at the side of the exhibition. No entertainment fee was charged from the spectators. The organizers of the exhibition met the expenses from the sale proceeds of entrance tickets. For book exhibition, there was no entry fee. Meetings were held on the pendal daily. Eminent persons delivered speeches on education and after talks, singers were singing devotional songs on the raised platform there. I purchased some books from the book exhibition. That exhibition impressed my mind very much. I can’t forget them.

  7. The Crystal Palace, built to house the Great Exhibition of 1851, in London, was designed by Sir Joseph Paxton. It was built entirely of cast iron and glass and was one of the first structures to be built with prefabricated units. As such, it marked a milestone in the development of modern architecture.
