Results from WG-02 Meeting, October 27th and 28th 2005, Arlington, VA • Goal to collect requirements for a new 3D XA IOD SOP Class • Meeting was held with members from: • WG-02 • WG-15 • WG-22 • First Procedure to write up a list of applications for such a SOP Class • Second Procedureto define if Common or DX, MG or XA specific • Third Procedureto collect all necessary Modules and Macros from • enhanced CT, MR, XA • DX • non-existent modules and macros

List of Applications • Archive and Query/Retrieve • Basic Review & Display of slices • Display information from source projection images • Display of anatomical information • Volume rendering and slice reformatting • Perform volumetric calculations (measurements) • Quality Control • Reapply previous processing/display states • Reapply graphics, measurements, text, trajectory, saved with the volume • Allow object interpretation • Relate to the geometry of the acquisition system • Broken down to Modules and Macros (magically during early morning hours thanks to Francisco) • ….. • around 85 Modules and Macros identified (about 80 Common!)

  3. Approach for 2006 (with higher and lower priorities): WG-11 WG-17 support from WG-02

  5. Conclusion Request to WG-06 to establish an ad-hoc group 3D from X-Ray Cone Beam Projections Storage SOP Class(es) with Members from WG-02, WG-15 and WG-22 (others welcome) and to assign a supplement number for above supplement
