  3. 1. Leaking Faucet A leaking faucet usually requires two repairs: one for the fixture itself, and another for the drip pan under the sink. The drip pans catch water seepage from drain pipes, so they need to be emptied frequently. Two types of fixtures exist which are more likely than others to quickly develop leaks: compression faucets and disc faucets. Image Source

Showerhead Drips Leaky Shower Head or Faucet Combination When an outdoor faucet head starts to drip, chances are good that its rubber washer needs replacing rather than a whole new fixture being required. However, many times the seals used in these fixtures eventually start to harden and crack, and replacements can be expensive. For More Info: https://bit.ly/3uyGLSt Image Source Image Source

  5. 3. Leaking Toilet The most common way that water damage in a home is caused by a leaking toilet is due to faulty or damaged seals between the tank and bowl of the toilet. These leaks can cause problems in nearby walls, floors, and foundations if left untreated. Another common problem is leaking valves under the floor which can be more difficult to detect since they allow water from around the toilet to seep into surrounding areas instead of directing it all toward the drain pipe beneath the fixture. 6. 4. Broken Water Line Damage Broken Water Line Damage to a home's water line can occur very quickly due to road work being done on a street that shares a pipe with a residence, or due to a burst pipe in the ground underneath a house which causes water to flow directly into the dirt. Image Source While repairs can be costly, they are often covered by home insurance. If this happens near a road where excavation work is happening, it may cause delays with projects being completed since replacing a line can take weeks or even months. Inage Source
