  1. Resolve Financial exchange problem Do you face an issue in which no financial exchange end of day due to 2 windows open in QB in server? And you are unable to open QB financial on server. Task manager shows nothing open and all computers with QB financial were closed. Causes of this Financial Exchange Error: The financial exchange error may occur due to the following reasons: It occurs when a non-admin user is logged in to QuickBooks Desktop. Either you are using older version of QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale or QuickBooks Desktop. The Integrated Applications preference in QuickBooks Desktop is damaged or corrupted.     Read also: Financial Exchange Error 100060 How to fix this error Let me share these steps that can resolve the issue: Solution 1: Refresh the Integrated Applications  Open QuickBooks  Now go to the QuickBooks' Edit menu and then click Preferences.  Go to the Integrated Applications tab and go to Company Preferences tab.  If more than one application is listed, then choose QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale and click on Properties.  Now click on the Access Rights tab, make sure the name in the Login as field are clear and the nAllow this application to read and modify this company file checkbox.  Click on OK to save the changes.  Follow steps 1 to 4 again but this time, select the Allow this application to read and modify this company file checkbox.  In the Login as field, select the name that was previously used. Again Click on OK.  Run financial exchange in QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale. Solution 2: Refresh communication between QuickBooks Desktop and Point of Sale  Launch the both applications together.  In QuickBook POS, click on File, search Preferences, and then click Company.  Select Financial, then clear the Use with QuickBooks Financial Software checkbox and save the changes.  In Quickbooks Desktop, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.  Proceed to the Integrated Applications tab.  On the Company Preferences tab, look for QuickBooks Point of Sale, and then select Remove.  Select YES on the Remove this application warning box, then select OK.  In POS, go to Financial > Financial Center > Set Up QuickBooks Connection Now and follow the Connection Wizard to finish the setup.  Once done, run a financial exchange one more time to check if you're able to do it.
