MPI ( Parallel ) Transp • Nubeam can be run using MPI with current version • Toric RF code also to be made available • Slave processes are running for duration of the Transp run • Code runs at JET, but optimum configuration ( eg # nodes for # beam particles ) not yet established • Inherently less robust – * More processes * Process interconnections • Some monitoring of run state would be useful • Not yet available with JETtransp

  5. Toric / ILA • Antenna geometry is available • TrICH code needs updating to read new RE DDA – prepares Transp DDAs • Use Dipole Phasing – Nphi = • Effect of frequency, phasing variations not clear • Is treatment of the poloidally separated straps correct ??
