Third Party InterventionConciliation • The least intrusive of third-party process (Corvette, 2007) • A person acceptable to all is selected to be the conciliator, who serves as the go-between. • Typically the conciliator meets separately with each party in attempts to persuade the parties to proceed with each other. Thus the role of the conciliator is to reestablish or improve communication between the parties. • The conciliator is not to provide input on substantive matters. • The parties involved remain in control.
