The Refreshment of Revival • Individuals can be revived but it doesn’t mean that the church will be revived. • Revival can occur on 3 Levels • Personal level—a personal refreshing • Church level—A spiritual refreshing • Community level—this is the church overflowing into the community A community Revival can never happen until there is a personal revival in an individual.

Personal Revival • What does it mean? • It’s a Return to Health Spiritually (Joshua 5:8) • It’s a Recharging of God’s HOLY SPIRIT (Psalm 119:25, 37, 40, 88) • It’s a New REFRESHING Rush of Power from God (Ezekiel 37:5—Thus says the Lord God to these bones, Behold I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life) Every church is only good as the individual members who make it up. Let us rise to the occasion and commit ourselves to personal revival.

How to Have Personal Revival • Set your Face like Flint (Isaiah 50:7—for the Lord God helps Me, Therefore I am not disgraced; therefore, I have set my face like flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed.) • Set your Heart on Jesus (Mark 10:46-52) • Set yourself up for EXAMINATION (Proverbs 28:13—He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion)

  7. Tozier—If you want revival, you must allow the Scriptures to be Scriptures in your life. • The Scriptures Expose your Life to Jesus • Expose yourself in Prayer • Expose yourself in His Word • Expose your heart to Obey • Expose your life in Confession and Restitution

Set For Yourself Holy Affirmations Nehemiah 9:38—Now because of all this We are making an agreement in writing; and on the sealed document are the names of our leaders, our Levites and our priests • Declare to never be own by anything—If there is anything that you own that God can’t have, you will never have a revival. • Never Defend Yourself—Exodus 23:22—But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries • Never Defame another Christian • Never Receive or accept Glory
