  2. Birth • Michael faraday was born the 22 of September 1721. • He was born at Newington Butts. • Michael faraday Died 25 August Hamalton court , surrey ,England at the age 75.

  3. Michael Faraday Michael Faraday’s family were not well off they were a poor family. His father was a Christain same with rest of family

  4. Inventions • Kinetic energy to electrical energy to light energy • In the Faraday lamp the kinetic energy of a moving magnet is used to generate electrical energy which is, in turn, converted to light energy. The Faraday lamp has the advantage that it is capable of storing the electrical energy. The kinetic energy used has itself been previously converted from chemical energy (food) stored in our bodies and released through respiration. • Background on electromotive force (emf) • Electrical energy can be generated by moving a magnet relative to a coil of wire that is in a closed loop. It does not matter whether it is the coil or the magnet that moves. This is the basis of all electrical generators, including dynamos. This can be demonstrated by moving a coil of wire into and out of a coil of wire that is attached to a sensitive ammeter.
