Where we are in place and time-transportation-

  • Each student will research a chosen mode of transportation. Students will need to do research at home. At school each student will create a book, clay tile, artistic representation, and tracing of their chosen mode. At our mini exhibition, each student will need to answer 5 questions about their mode of transportation.

  • What is your mode of transportation?

  • Why did you chose this mode of transportation?

  • What is its purpose?

  • How has your mode of transportation changed over time?

  • In what part/s of the world is this mode of transportation used?

How the world works farms
How the world works-farms-

  • Each student will choose 1 product that originates on a farm. At home students will research the type of farm the product comes from, why we need the product, and how the product is made. Students will bring in their product along with a display to present to the class.

  • We will learn about farms at school, but all of the research and preparation for this presentation will be done at home.
