  1. MSU Avian Science Club The International Poultry Exposition (IPE) is the country’s premier trade show for the poultry industry. As part of the event, the United States Poultry and Egg Association hosts a college student program. The college program includes speakers and opportunities to interview with numerous poultry companies. The MSU Avian Science Club has attended this event for the past four years. The MSU Avian Science Club is a student organization that caters to students interested in avian species used for recreation, exhibition, food and hobby. We participate in several events throughout the year including Small Animals Day, Easter egg hunt, an annual turkey sale fundraiser, educational workshops and the International Poultry Exposition. This year several members attended the IPE. Dr. Balander, Professor in Animal Science served as our advisor for the trip. We had seven members attend, five of which interviewed with one or more poultry companies for full time positions and summer internships. As part of the trip we also created a YouTube video on careers in the poultry industry. International Poultry Exposition Atlanta, GA Picture Picture Thank You CANR Alumni Association!
