  3. Habitat • Mudpuppies live in lakes and rivers. • At night mudpuppies hunt for food but in • the day they hide under logs and rocks.

  4. Food • Mudpuppies can not see as well. • They use sense of smell to find pray. • Mudpuppies eat worms, snails, and crayfish.

  5. Life cycle • Female mudpuppies lays about a 100 eggs at a time. • Females protect her eggs in tell they hatch. • Mudpuppies live up to 20 years

  6. Fun Facts • Mudpuppies are also called waterdogs. • Mudpuppy’s eyes are striped. • Mudpuppy eggs hatch in as a month.
