  2. Preparing for Class • Report to class on time • In the room BEFORE the bell chimes • Bring a notebook, textbook, pen/pencil • Be seated in your ASSIGNED seat • Have a WRITTEN PASS if you are late, or leaving to go somewhere during class • Put any homework in THE BOX (my desk)

  3. During Classroom Activities… • Only one person speaks at a time • Pay attention to the matter at hand • If you have a question….. • RAISE YOUR HAND & be patient • Please do not interrupt the speaker • I will call on you; it may take a few seconds • Listen to any other student questions

  4. Assignments & Grading • Due date is written on each assignment • 10 points deducted for each day late • A score of ZERO after 5 days late NOTE: Please refer to guidebook policies for excused absences & late assignments.

  5. Discipline Policy • Disciplinary action will be discussed AFTER class, not DURING class. • If you’re asked to stay after class, don’t leave the room (assignment doubled !) • Disciplinary assignments will be… 1. Verbal Warnings 2. Written Essays 3. Detention 4. Office Referral
