  1. Nehemiah 8:1-3 And all the people gathered as one man into the square before the Water Gate. And they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses that the LORD had commanded Israel. So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, both men and women and all who could understand what they heard, on the first day of the seventh month. And he read from it facing the square before the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women and those who could understand. And the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law.
  2. How I love Your Law

  3. Read The Bible Lovingly
  4. The Five Essentials of Genuine Love Attention (of ourselves and/or others) Acceptance (of ourselves and/or others) Appreciation (of ourselves and/or others) Affection (of ourselves and/or others) Allowing (of ourselves and/or others) Annie B. Bond
  5. I Love Your Law Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. Psa 119:97 I hate the double-minded, but I love your law. Psa 119:113 I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your law. Psa 119:163 Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. Psa 119:165
  6. To Love The Law Is To Love The Lawgiver Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul." (Joshua 22:5)
  7. God Gave It For Humanities Good "And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments and statutes of the LORD, which I am commanding you today for your good? (Deuteronomy 10:12-13)
  8. Read The Bible Longingly
  9. Because Of Its Essential Nature To the choirmaster. A Maskil of the Sons of Korah. As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Psalm 42:1-2). Jesus said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.“ (John 4:13-14). It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.(John 6:63).
  10. Because Of Its Worth All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them. They are all straight to him who understands, and right to those who find knowledge. Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her. (Proverbs 8:8-11).
  11. Because Of Its Power So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:15-16). Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
  12. Plan Your Approach
  13. Read The Bible Systematically Plan a study Read from Genesis – Revelation Read the Old Testament or the New Testament Read/Study A Book – Genesis, Judges, Acts Read/Study A Word – Faith, Righteousness, Grace, Marriage, Fornication, Worship, Miracle et.al. Study the parables Study the sermons in scripture Study prayer Study the prayers in scripture
  14. All Of God’s Word Is Important The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever (Psalm 119:160). And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessing and the curse, according to all that is written in the Book of the Law. There was not a word of all that Moses commanded that Joshua did not read before all the assembly of Israel, and the women, and the little ones, and the sojourners who lived among them (Joshua 8:34-35).
