  1. #1 National Recommendation: Key Points (summary): • In order to support the National effort on Self-Advocacy - make Self-Advocacy the “4th Prong.” • If we want self-advocates to have a National Voice – we must support with Federal Dollars.

  2. #2 National Recommendation: Key Points (summary): • ADD will provide monies ($$$) to minimum allotment Areas for Self-Advocatesto attend regional and national events and meetings. -This would help Guam (and others) participate EQUALLY with others on National Level.

  3. #3 National Recommendation: Key Points (summary): -Hold a National Conversation led by Self-Advocates -about wording used to describe or refer -to people with developmental disabilities. “R” word Consumer
