This reflection draws on Psalm 139 and Romans 8:1, celebrating the intricacies of life from conception to birth. It acknowledges that each individual is wonderfully made, with purpose and design carefully orchestrated by God. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves, as highlighted in Proverbs 31:8-9. By recognizing the sanctity of life and the need for compassion, we are called to celebrate the creations God has knitted together and champion the rights of the vulnerable.

Psalm 139:13-16. For you created my inner most being; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
