  1. Why Did I Travel To Montreal On A Solo Trip And Why You Should Too!

  2. Montreal has earned the title of the cultural capital of Canada. Let’s take a tour of this city with me. I was given the chance to see it for myself so I packed my bags and dived head first into the world of Montreal. The city is a celebration of Quebecois style and has poured European style into Canadian flavor. It is an amalgamation of varied cultures and unique idiosyncrasies. I was more than ready to submerge myself in its culture. The Montreal

  3. I landed at Montreal Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport and stepped out into the freezing but reassuring air of the city. Since this was not my first-time, so I knew little about the public transportation system. Montreal has brilliant system of Bus, Trains and Taxis for natives and for travellers like myself. Its widespread Metro reach would prove beneficial for first-time travellers. City comes alive at night time and the night-time bus network makes it even livelier. I did not have to wait for the sun to rise to explore. The easily accessible taxis, Car rentals and Bikes were there for me anytime of the day. I had made reservations for a 3 day stay at Hotel William Gray, a week prior to my arrival. The staff was warm and disciplined. I was given recommendations on what and where to eat, besides Poutine. 4. The first thing on my must-see-places was Place Jacques Cartier. It is an interesting constellation of musicians and magicians who gather to perform their acts and entertain the crowds. After grabbing lunch at nearby café, I visited Sucreriede la Montagne in St. George’s Rd because I was told I needed to check this place out if I wish to witness Canadian folklore in its entirety. My top two places would definitely be Montreal Botanical Garden and Barbie Expo. I am not sure if it was just me but the goddess nature artwork at Montreal Botanical Garden reminded me of the movie “Moana”. The barbies at the display made me nostalgic of my childhood. For dinner I decided to check out this really popular place called Le 409. Travel To Montreal On A Solo Trip

  5. Exploring at night was my favorite thing to do in Montreal. Just like natives I am a fan of walking and The Montreal Underground Pedestrian Network really came as a knight in shining armour. It’s a 30 km network flowing across the veins of the city. The network also has 1700 shops and restaurant to celebrate the city. No trip is complete without some shopping and a comfortable flight. So, I choose the United Airlines Flights for the comfortable journey. Montreal is a shopper’s dream come to life. From high-end to thrift stores, there are plenty of options to choose from. I tried gorgeous boutiques and stores in Plateau Mont- Royal District for unique styles. There are plenty of upscale options as well. Centre Rockland, ComplexeDesjardini and Cours Mont Royal would be my top picks to go crazy at. Travel To Montreal On A Solo Trip
