Objectives for Aalborg University's educations • Offer pedagogical advanced educational programmes within a broad spectrum of subject areas • Offer educational programmes adapted to changes in the labour marked needs and professional development • Increasing the number of Open University programmes, including master’s educational programmes and programmes offered as distance learning, to offer working adults from all over the country flexible access to encountering education at university level. 2

Objectives for engineering programme • Synthesize and evaluate scientific methods within the technical and scientific field and perform technological development and research • Solve complex technical problems by means of natural science and technological knowledge • Participate in planning, realization and control of complex technological systems and be able to bring it into a context reflecting sociological, economical, environmental and working environmental consequences in solving of technological problems • Take part in an executive and co operational context with people with different educational and cultural background 3
