Physical Best is a program of the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE), an association of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) – It is a comprehensive, health-related fitness education program, for use in K-12 physical education programs.

  4. - What? • Comprehensive When combined with the FITNESSGRAM/ACTIVITYGRAM assessment, it provides a complete fitness education and assessment program with teacher training and resources

  5. - What? • Health-Related The emphasis is on students’ work toward obtaining and maintaining a healthful level of: • Aerobic Fitness • Muscular Fitness • Flexibility • Body Composition

  6. - What? • For Use With Existing Curriculums Physical Best is not intended to be a stand-alone program. It focuses primarily on NASPE standards 3 & 4, and the concepts and activities are designed for integration into a physical education program throughout the school year.
