  8. Truancy Report: PED Responsibility • Generates reports from school district data submission • Only reports full-day counts • Two ½ days count as a full day • Habitual truant numbers • Technical assistance approach

  9. Truancy Report: CYFD Task Force • What is it? • No change in the juvenile code as it pertains to truancy • Have adopted recommendations of the LESC (Legislative Education Studies Committee) work group
