Government jobs are expected to increase by 49,800. What is the economic outlook for San Diego County? Most of the new jobs will be in the services sector. Second is retail trade. Remember - These are 2 of the largest sectors in San Diego County. There is a myth that jobs in the services sector are all low paying jobs.
