Reproduction: Asexually; spores produced in a club- shaped structure called a sporangium. Sexually; reproductive structure forms at point where hyphae join. Method of Obtaining Food: consumer; heterotroph-saprophyte-absorbs dead decaying tissues of other organisms using hyphae and digestive enzymes. Special Notes/Adaptations: Mold can cover a loaf of bread in less than 3 days. Spores are very common in the air.
