  1. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Author: Mark Twain Date/Year of Publication: 2006 Genre: Realistic Fiction Power point created BY: Aliana Lucio

  2. Setting The main settings in the book is around and in the Mississippi River. The characters are also in the woods a lot.

  3. Characters Huckleberry Pap Huck is a white boy. He is a teenager. In the beginning he is dressed well towards the end he is in ragged clothing. He is an old, very pale man. His hair is long, tangled, black, no gray and greasy. He is a drunk and isn't very nice to Huck.

  4. Conflict The main conflict in my book is that Huck’s father was abusing him and he wanted to run away. This would be a man versus man type of conflict.

  5. Summary Huckleberry is living good with two ladies that are sisters ,Miss Watson and The Widow, until one day his Pap shows up. He stole Huck and takes him to a cabin in the woods, but no one knows they’re there. Huck is constantly abused and wants to run away. He eventually escapes and fakes his death. He stays on an island and runs into Jim , Miss Watson and The Widow’s runaway slave. They here from a lady there will be an award for his findings so they leave the island on a raft. One day they both fell of the raft and they got separated. They meet again somewhere and meet two men. These men were con artist, but Huck and Jim didn’t know that. The men sell Jim. The people turned out to be Huck’s friend ,Tom’s, family. They try to free Jim but you will just have to guess what happens.

  6. Theme Freedom can be a good thing or a bad thing. Evidence Huck wasn’t being abused anymore. Good Huck was almost killed. Bad Huck can do what ever he wants to. Good

  7. Point of view This story is told in first person. It is told in the point of view by Huckleberry. You can really develop e and feel what he is. I think it would be better if this story was told in third Person because you could feel and express what everyone is feeling.

  8. Symbolism Huck’s canoe: I think this symbolizes freedom. When he found it a few days later he escapes. It was thing that got him away from all the abuse from his father.

  9. Recommendations I would so recommend this book. It was very interesting and I just really enjoyed it. The way the author worded it you could just imagine it in your mind. You should do read this book.
