    5. Role of European Scout Region To provide support and resources to National Scout Organisations to help them bring better Scouting and Guiding to more young people in Europe

Recognise the value of diversity and its impact on social inclusion To encourage respect and understanding for diversity in European society and develop an attitude of inclusion through youth education Diversity Project (WAGGGS); Round Table (WAGGGS); WOSM Guidelines; Overture; Diversity Six Pack

Accommodate the needs and trends which impact on young people To initiate the validation of national youth programme, analysing and taking into account the needs and trends of young people whilst keeping in mind the fundamentals of Scouting Spiritual Development; Sea Scouting; Rap Games; 6th Forum on YP & AR, ScoutNet, Lands of Adventure; Cub Scout Commissioners network; self evaluation of Patrol System; Programme Renewal Evaluation; The Complete Scout Method.

Design programmes that provide the specific needs of boys and girls, women and men in Scouting To work on ways to assess and ensure specific needs of genders and specific needs of age groups in the programme, based on quality indicators Gender Survey Pilot Project; Girls in Scouting; Gender network; Gender & Stages of Development
